April 22 Monday Mortara Today we had a long walk of 35 kilometers but easy. we walk in and around rice fields, it is very impressive to see all these fields that are flooded and all the canals all over the place and when we walk we are on a digue and sometime there is water all around us. We have finally connected with
some pilgrims last nite, there were 7 of us in the gite, 2 from holland, 2 from france, 1 italian, 1 sicilian and 1 canadian, it was a rare treat, but we all are going to rome so we may see each other on the road again.
We are now in valleys so it is not so hard to walk and we are enjoying the difference with the mountains. We were in Piemonte, and now we are in Lombardy, not sure what is next, will be a surprise. Since we have had
rain in the last few days have not taken many pictures and still do not know how to load on the blog, will do
when i get home. Internet is almost non existent, WI FI is advertised but many times does not work, and on my Itouch i rarely can log in, that is why not many blogs. Till next time.
